We are from Nebraska, born and raised, but that hasn't stopped us from moving to Upstate New York for a year and half, then back to Nebraska and now to California!

Luckily we were both home schooled and we have decided to home school our children, which makes gallivanting across the country every year or two a lot easier! Right now we live on the Southeast side of the San Francisco Bay so we have a great Farmer's Market year round. I like to take my girls to see what new treasures we can find, they are really good at trying new foods. It's exciting to raise kids who love learning and trying new things.

My husband and I enjoy teaching our kids to do the things that we like to do, this includes crafts, cooking, eating, being sci-fi nerds and needing espresso in the morning. One of our favorite times of year is Halloween, now that the girls are getting old enough to help plan their own costumes. It's craft time for everyone! My husband is a master at pumpkin carving and R2D2 painting!

I am the second oldest of seven siblings, the six oldest being girls was great fun. I learned to crochet from my 6th grade teacher who had a Crochet Club after school, I then taught my sisters and we had wonderful times watching movies like Anne of Green Gables, Little Women and Pride & Prejudice while working on our various projects. I can't wait to share times like that with my daughters!
